So, my pal Claire has set up an RSS livejournal for my site. So if you want, you can add "wrdmoot" to your friends list and you'll be notified of my new entries there, since I'm no longer doing it manually here. Thanks, Claire!

9:48 am - The Reputation at Graceland, April 19
Hey all,

First, one of my favorite bands, the Reputation, will be at Graceland (formerly the Off Ramp) a week from tonight, April 19. Get there if you can.

Second, I won't be posting notifications of my journal updates here anymore. It's just a pain, y'know? So you can either just follow the journal itself, or you can subscribe to the RSS feed if you want to keep up. I'll be using the LJ account just for reading/commenting on my LJ friends' journals.

I make no bones about it: I hate his voice. God, I hate his voice.

Hey, do you have a ship and a dozen able men that maybe you could lend me?: I feel kind of like I'm reading a blend of Ringworld and the Edgar Rice Burroughs Barsoom series, with a good dose of Sergio Leone's "Man With No Name" westerns thrown in, except, you know, different.

Home for sale: Oh, I suppose there may be a few couples out there who are so utterly, perfectly fulfilled by each other that they don't need anybody else. But I think that's rare. And possibly psychotic.

Come on-a my house, I'm gonna give you candy: My first thought was, "that sounds awfully embarrassing." My second was, "Or, possibly, hilarious." So I was kind of torn on the question of going. I'd never seen a burlesque show.

Animal Day: It was much like the previous Sunday, although we were a little more comfortable, and we didn't stuff ourselves full of gigantic omelettes.

It could happen: Four of the lanes were walled off from the rest of the establishment for those who preferred to go au natural.

Heh-heh-heh...they said "butt": We also went to one of the restaurants down by the ferry landing, where we had large, tasty, extremely unhealthy omelettes with sides of hash browns, constant screaming from the infant at the next table, and toast.

When we met (postdated): It was a good date, featuring truly excellent kissing.

Headache: Shouldn't a machine that counts money be programmed to accept only denominations that actually exist?

Shrink: He seems good. Easy to talk with, and he seemed to know when to start tugging at the fabric of an answer to see if it was going to unravel into interesting bits of string.

Dirty Towel: There’s that old joke about that feeling when you’re leaning back in your chair, and it starts to fall over, and the comedian says he feels that way all the time.

It’s not as funny when you really feel that way.

Separated: I don’t know any longer if the wells of forgiveness are deep enough to save us, even if she manages to save herself.

Two Years: My mother got Jezebel into a carrier easily enough, at which point Moxie went apeshit.

Discharged: We'll go to breakfast, our first meal together in nearly a month, and then find somewhere to walk and kill time until around 11:30.
